S&ME’s Chuck Black Elected ASCE Regional Director

Chuck Black was elected Regional Director for the American Society Civil Engineers (ASCE). Chuck will serve ASCE’s Region 4 which includes South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Arkansas representing some 13,000 regional ASCE members including 36 local branches and 42 student chapters. As a Director, Chuck will also serve a 3-year term on ASCE’s Board of Direction, helping to lead the ASCE organization and its 146,000 members as the international leader of the civil engineering profession.
