Kasey McWhorter, PE serves as Client Development Leader in our Geotechnical Business Unit. Closely collaborating with the firm’s leadership and employee-owners, Kasey’s responsibilities include driving S&ME’s top line sales as she focuses on identifying, pursuing, and garnering work nationally. Kasey is passionate about developing strong client partnerships and connecting clients with S&ME’s great people. The result of this effort ensures our clients and employees build relationships and help one another prosper.
Upon earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, Kasey began her career in the geotechnical engineering industry. A natural people person and Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Kasey assumed responsibilities of a business development role and enjoys representing S&ME across different industries through involvement with NAIOP, PTCREW, NC Healthcare Engineer’s Associations, NC American Public Works Association, NC American Water Works Association, and NC Economic Development Association.
Since joining us in 1998, Kasey has witnessed growth from approximately 250 to over 1,100 employees, which is attributed to a culture of employee-owners exceeding client expectations and a focus on responsiveness, technical excellence, quality and safety.
