Jason Reeves, PE

Technical Principal and Principal Engineer

Jason Reeves has over 25 years of experience in geotechnical, civil engineering, and construction materials testing projects. Based in Knoxville, TN, his specialties include dam engineering and permitting, ash ponds, landfill engineering, slope stability analysis, erosion control design, geotechnical exploration, geotechnical laboratory testing, liquefaction analysis, and preparation of dam and landfill design drawings and specifications. Jason enjoys mentoring junior engineering staff and is also a Senior Reviewer for civil engineering,  geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing projects.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina. Jason has served on the S&ME Geotechnical, Construction Materials, and Civil Engineering Practice Committees. He is also a Past-President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (North Carolina Section) and a Past Geotechnical Chair for the NC Section. In addition, he led the development of a previous ASCE North Carolina Section Infrastructure Report Card for dams and is also a member of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials.
