UNCG-Web Based Asbestos Management System

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) required advanced information technology to manage asbestos-containing materials in 67 university structures.  The University was using a cumbersome paper system that updated reports from a 1997 asbestos survey.  Tracking asbestos materials was increasingly difficult, time consuming, and costly.  S&ME developed a dynamic, web-based asbestos management system for UNCG. The new system set standards for problem-solving which can also apply to similar applications, saving time and money and providing well-defined information for clients.
