John Weavil has over 15 years of experience in the industry with expertise in construction services, geotechnical, environmental, and laboratory services across a broad client base. He joined S&ME in 2006, working primarily in the Construction Services group before helping build the aviation group in 2021. As the Regional Director of Tennessee and Alabama, John provides leadership to drive growth, client development strategies, and strategic direction objectives of the organization while offering integrated services to nationwide and regional clients. John believes the key to success is building strong relationships with both clients and coworkers. Through hard work, he strives to provide unparalleled service and value to clients. John has a passion for mentoring coworkers to help them exceed their personal and career goals with a philosophy that serving others with honesty and empathy creates opportunities to thrive together so everyone achieves success.
John received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from North Carolina State University and is a licensed professional engineer.. He is an active member and has held committee roles in the American Council of Engineering Companies Engineers (ACEC) and Airport Consultants Council. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons.
