Ben Dusina brings over 20 years of experience specializing in transportation, utility facility, residual waste facility, commercial facility, and industrial facility projects. When working on a wide variety of projects, Ben has planned and managed subsurface exploration programs and drilling operations, monitored geotechnical instrumentation, provided field and laboratory testing, performed and reviewed geotechnical analyses, managed technical field staff, and provided material testing services. Additionally, Ben has designed and overseen plan preparation and construction for multiple repairs of slope failures. Additionally, Ben has performed and reviewed foundation settlement estimates, bearing capacity for shallow and deep foundations, and liquefaction potential.
As Office Principal based in Cincinnati, OH, Ben is responsible for overseeing project execution while collaborating with fellow S&ME leadership to enhance current and new business opportunities, and mentor Cincinnati staff.
Ben earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from Ohio Northern University, and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in OH, IN, KY, VA, and WV.
