Jacobson wins Young Professional Award
Jesse Jacobson wins 2010 John R. Browning Young Professional of the Year award.
A project manager/project engineer from the Asheville branch has been named the 2010 recipient of S&ME’s John R. Browning, PE, Young Professional of the Year award.
Jesse Jacobson, PE, was presented with the honor at this year’s Technical Conference. President, Randy Neuhaus called Jacobson a worthy recipient of the honor. The criteria for nomination are: extensive professional participation; carrying out civic, community and public responsibilities; a professional reputation more than local and integrity beyond question; consistent work for the professional and technical interest of the profession; and working toward distinction in the technical field of practice.
The award was established in April 2008 to honor retired President John R. Browning, PE, who is known for his great interest in the ongoing development of S&ME’s young professionals.
