S&ME was a subconsultant for the design and construction of the NFL stadium that is home to the Carolina Panthers. S&ME’s engineering services included foundation design recommendations and monitoring. The firm’s groundwater dewatering system design helped meet the NFL criteria allowing for a playable field within one hour of a seven-inch rainstorm. Our construction quality assurance/control services involved monitoring concrete, reinforcing steel, fireproofing, soils, pavements and masonry.
