S&ME’s Annual Technical Conference A Success
Nearly 45% of S&ME’s employees, over 400, attended the company’s 2010 S&ME Technical Conference held in Charlotte, NC this April.
The annual meeting brings S&ME technical professionals together to share information on new technologies, skills, project approaches and other information useful in providing client services and pursing work.
This year’s two-day agenda included presentations on geotechnical, construction materials, environmental, industrial hygiene, natural and cultural resources, civil engineering, geographic information systems (GIS) technology, and business development.
Senior Vice President Jack Amar, PE, organized the event in cooperation with the company’s various technical committees that coordinated the presentations. Amar said a plus for the conference is that it also provides the opportunity for technical staff from all offices to become better acquainted.
