S&ME again ranks in top environmental firms list
Raleigh, NC – Raleigh-based engineering and environmental firm S&ME, Inc., has again been recognized among the nation’s top 200 environmental firms in 2010 ranking released by a national publication.
The list is compiled from annual surveys conducted by Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine, a national industry weekly.
The firm’s environmental services include management and implementation of RCRA/CERCLA projects, soil and groundwater assessments and remediations, brownfield redevelopments, natural resources, industrial hygiene, wastewater and stormwater management, air and water discharge permitting, storage tank management, and water resources management.
S&ME employs 1,000 professionals and support staff in 28 offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia.
The firm specializes in geotechnical engineering, construction materials engineering and testing, environmental services, occupational health and safety, water resources and solid waste engineering, and natural and cultural resources. Projects have included major airports, bridges, highways, dams, military installations, sports facilities, and industrial, commercial and institutional sites.
