RCRA PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

S&ME has provided RCRA services since the program began in the 1970's. We work as a member of our client's environmental management team, which may include internal environmental staff, legal counsel and financial professionals.

Solid and Hazardous Waste Facility Services to assist in meeting waste facility requirements; services may include RCRA Part A/Part B permits, RCRA subtitle D landfill permits, siting analyses, RCRA facility assessments/investigations, corrective measure studies and action plans, waste minimization, compliance audits, regulatory liaison and support.

RCRA Facility Investigations to provide chemical, physical and analytical data to prepare an investigative report for submittal to regulatory agencies. S&ME will also discuss agency concerns and provide technical assistance during negotiations.

Corrective Measures Studies to evaluate various technologies identified as appropriate to site conditions; to also select the technology or combination of technologies that will yield effective and efficient site remediation while meeting regulatory requirements.

Closure and Post-Closure Plans in accordance with applicable regulations, for facilities which are closed clean or where waste materials are left in place. These plans include descriptions of the waste management units, closure activities to be undertaken, verification of sampling programs, post-closure care, groundwater monitoring and cost estimates.
