Broadway, Main Street and State of Franklin Road Sewer Improvements

Local flooding along a downtown intersection prompted the City of Johnson City Water and Sewer Department to investigate the issue. S&ME performed a hydrologic and hydraulic study of the drainage area. Our team then prepared a preliminary engineering report (PER) making recommendations for improvements to alleviate the drainage problem. The PER identified three areas with deficiencies. The City asked our team to provide design and construction documents/

S&ME provided construction administration and management services for the Broadway, Main Street & State of Franklin Road water and sewer line improvements. In addition, S&ME oversaw the replacement of 10,000 LF of 20-inch waterline and 3,400 LF of 15-inch and 24-inch gravity sewer main.
