Belmont University Law School

The Randall and Sadie Baskin Center is a 71,000 square foot facility. The LEED Gold Certified building serves as Belmont University’s new College of Law and state-of-the-art law library. The three-story law school building also included design of a five-story underground parking garage. The project involved extensive utility relocations and access improvements to serve the new facility. Several sustainable site design strategies were employed including green roofs, groundwater harvesting for irrigation and stormwater treatment systems. The project also includes a realignment and widening of Acklen Avenue and construction of a round-about drop off area at the intersection of Acklen and the Pharmacy Plaza.
