Montgomery Bell State Park Inn & Conference Center

Located in the rolling hills of Dickson County, this 3,700 acre resort park is a treasure of historic and natural beauty. S&ME was part of the design team led by Everton Oglesby Architects for the six story Inn and Conference Center. S&ME provided site development, preliminary and final engineering services. The hotel, nestled into a hillside along the lake, presented a number of engineering challenges such as drainage and water quality. The team took advantage of the unique topography to create intimate spaces and panoramic views.

• The Park was the former site of an 19th Century ironworks facility
