S&ME Wins National Drilling Association Safety Award

The National Drilling Association honored S&ME as the sole recipient of their 2013 Safety Award, based on our performance in the 500,000+ annual exposure hours categories last year. The Drilling Safety Award Program recognizes NDA drilling contractor members’ outstanding safety performance. Over the course of 2013, S&ME’s incident rate was substantially lower than the industry average for drilling. Members of the drilling team were recently recognized at the NDA National Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The National Drilling Association is a nonprofit trade association of contractors, manufacturers and affiliated members from the drilling industry representing the geotechnical, environmental and mineral exploration sectors of this industry. The NDA mission is to promote the use of professional drilling contractors and their methods.
