<p>Prior experience should include asbestos air monitoring and asbestos inspections, lead based paint evaluations, industrial hygiene assessments, and knowledge of TDEC and OSHA asbestos regulations. Duties would consist of asbestos air monitoring and abatement monitoring, and asbestos building evaluations. Any lead-based paint or other IH experience is a plus.</p>
<p><strong>Candidates must also meet the following requirements:</strong></p>

<li>1-5 years experience in asbestos and Industrial Hygiene or related field</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>S&amp;ME, Inc., an engineering and environmental services firm, is seeking a full-time, experienced, Environmental Department Manager to be based in Richmond, VA.  Previous management experience is required.</p>
<p>Candidates should have experience with Phase I and II’s Environmental Site Assessments on commercial and industrial project sites and having various contaminates.  Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA regulations, air quality/permitting, Brownfield sites, storm water quality and permitting, natural resources and/or other applicable environmental fields is a plus.  Experience with various VA regulatory personnel is also a plus.</p>
<p> <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 8-10 years of experience with progressive levels of responsibility in environmental consulting services</li>
<li>BS in engineering or environmental related science, MS preferred</li>
<li>PE or PG certification required</li>
<li>Strong business development/interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to mentor and review various levels of professional and technical staff</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with clients and staff</li>
</ul>
<p>This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company’s Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
