S&ME is seeking a geotechnical engineer for our Richmond, VA location. Responsibilities include field explorations, analysis and design, report writing, laboratory testing, construction monitoring and supervising subsurface exploration. Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and posses the ability to work as a team player. Candidates must also meet the following requirements:

• BSCE or MSCE

• PE registration

• 6-8 years relevant experience

• Proven computer proficiency

• Valid drivers license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Only qualified candidates with acceptable employment eligibility verification (I-9) will be considered.
