Our Kingsport, TN office is seeking a staff professional. Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player.

• BS or MS in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering
• 1-4 years experience
• E.I. or E.I.T certification required

Valid drivers license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report per S&ME Fleet Management Program standards

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to report preparation, engineering analyses and design, drawings, specifications and construction quality assurance of solid waste management, grading and drainage plans, and storm water management systems.

Additional responsibilities include sampling of soil and groundwater for environmental assessment and remediation projects, Phase I ESAs, data management, evaluation, and reporting. Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and storm water modeling is preferred
