Qualified candidate should have excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills and possess:

• BS in civil engineering (MS preferred in civil engineering with Materials background)

• 1-4 years experience

• E.I. or E.I.T. certification required

• Ability to obtain American Concrete Institute Laboratory Technician Grade I and II

• Ability to obtain Masonry Inspector certification

• Ability to obtain Face Dipstick floor profiler certification

• Valid drivers license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report per S&ME Fleet Management Program standards

The position will manage concrete laboratory projects; perform lab and field engineering and testing, review data provided by lab and field technicians and write reports and proposals with supervision. The position will also coordinate some laboratory activities and may supervise concrete laboratory technicians. The position will involve working directly with 10CFR50 Appendix B Quality Assurance Supervisor, laboratory / field engineers, laboratory / field technicians and administrative staff. Some field engineering in support of construction services projects will also be required.
