Geotechnical Engineer

S&ME is seeking a geotechnical engineer for our Raleigh, NC location. Responsibilities include field explorations, analysis and design, report writing, laboratory testing, construction monitoring and supervising subsurface exploration. Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and posses the ability to work as a team player. Candidates must also meet the following requirements:

• BSCE or MSCE
• PE registration
• 5-10 years relevant experience
• Proven computer proficiency
• Valid drivers license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company’s Fleet Management Program, Substance Abuse Policy and Background check program.
