Asbestos Laboratory Technician

We are seeking to fill an Asbestos Laboratory Technician in our Charlotte, NC Office. A successful candidate will have:

• High school graduate or GED, Associate Degree in technical field preferred
• 0-5 years laboratory experience
• Prior PLM analytical experience is preferred

This position assists the laboratory supervisor in day-to-day operation of the laboratory. Conducts polarized light microscopic analysis of bulk material samples for asbestos. Conducts phased contrast microscopic analysis of air samples for asbestos. Detailed microscope focused work for extended periods is required.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.  Only qualified candidates with acceptable employment eligibility verification (I-9) will be considered.
