Our Charlotte, NC location is seeking an experienced solid waste engineer
to help develop, coordinate, and direct solid waste management and related
landfill design. A qualified candidate will have:
- B.S. or M.S. in civil or geotechnical engineering
- Professional Engineer registration
- 10+ years of experience managing and directing solid waste projects
- Expected to interface and work with multi-disciplinary teams currently engaged in solid waste projects.
Position duties include preparing construction specifications, drawings, CQA plans, cost estimates and various types of landfill permitting documents in accordance with governing state and federal regulations. Perform engineering evaluations and technical direction of projects related to solid waste management. Gas management experience a plus.
A successful candidate will also actively participate in marketing and client development activities, seeking opportunities with new and existing clients, preparing proposals and providing a high level of client service and responsiveness to clients.
