GEOTECHNICAL STAFF PROFESSIONAL

Our Wilmington, NC office is seeking a motivated staff professional to help grow and expand the geotechnical capabilities of our office serving eastern North Carolina. A successful candidate would have the opportunity to serve a well established client base, learn a multitude of analysis methods for both shallow and deep foundations, as well as gain significant experience with field testing of driven piles, auger cast piles, and/or ground improvement techniques. Working in the Coastal Plains Geologic Province (in which significant deposits of loose sands, soft clays, and peats are often encountered) the candidate will be able to evaluate in-situ soil conditions using SPT, CPT, and Dilatometer testing.

Qualified candidates must have:

• 1+ year experience in geotechnical and/or construction materials testing

• BS (or MS) in engineering or science related field

• EI, or desire and ability to obtain EI within 12 months

• Solid written and verbal skills
