LABORATORY COORDINATOR – SOIL/CONCRETE/ASPHALT LABORATORY

S&ME, Inc., an award-winning engineering and environmental services firm, is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator for our office in Winter Springs, FL. Duties to include:

• Maintenance of FDOT and CMEC accreditations
• Equipment verifications
• Maintenance of laboratory inventory
• Scheduling of material testing personnel
• Soils, Concrete, and Asphalt sampling and testing
• Aggregate sampling and testing
• Density testing using a drive sleeve or nuclear density gauge
• Preparation of laboratory testing reports

Field investigations, testing and some heavy lifting may be required. The following certifications, or the ability to obtain the certifications within 4 months, are required. Additional certifications are a plus.

• ACI Aggregate Field Testing Technician
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I
• ACI Concrete Lab Testing Technician Grade I
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Technician Level I
• CTQP Asphalt Plant Technician Level I
• CTQP LBR Technician
• CTQP Aggregate Field Testing Technician
• CTQP Qualified Sampler Technician
• CTQP Aggregate Testing Technician
• Nuclear Gauge Radiation Safety Certified   

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Only qualified candidates with acceptable employment eligibility verification (I-9) will be considered. Visa assistance is not provided.
