S&ME easily tops it’s Triangle United Way goal

Raleigh, NC–S&ME, Inc., a local engineering and environmental services firm, has raised more than $10,000 for local Raleigh charities through this year’s Triangle United Way campaign.

The gift easily tops S&ME’s contribution of last year. S&ME President John Browning said this year’s tally is an 18% increase from 2005.

“There are many worthy agencies within the United Way umbrella that do outstanding work for our community, and I’m glad we’ve upped our contributions.” Browning said. “I’m sure that like many firms, some of our own employees receive much benefit from services some of these agencies provide.”

In another annual community effort, several S&ME employees recently donated blood to the American Red Cross blood bank.
