S&ME adds environmental scientist

Raleigh, NC – S&ME, Inc., an award-winning engineering, testing and environmental consulting firm, has added a licensed soil scientist to its Raleigh branch.

John R. Davis, Jr., L.S.S. joins S&ME as an environmental project manager with more than 15 years of experience in scientific investigations for soil classification of on-site wastewater systems, and environmental assessments, including wetland delineation and permitting, and ecological studies.

Davis earned M.Ed. and B.S. degrees in agricultural education from North Carolina State University. In addition to his soil science licensure, he is a registered sanitarian in North Carolina.

Established in 1973, S&ME is an employee-owned company with 700 professional and support staff in North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
