S&ME adds two senior professionals in Atlanta
For immediate release

Atlanta, GA – S&ME, an engineering and environmental services firm that has operated in Atlanta for 21 years, has appointed two senior professionals.

Barry S. Cleveland, a professional geologist, will serve as senior client manager. Cleveland brings S&ME 17 years of experience in project management, risk-based corrective action, remediation design and installation, geotechnical investigations and client service. He is well known in the industry having worked with clients throughout the Southeast. He received his B.S. degree in geology from the University of Tennessee.

Douglas L. Gilmore, a professional engineer, will serve as a senior geotechnical engineer. His 28 years of experience encompasses construction materials and geotechnical engineering, and environmental services. Gilmore has served clients throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Europe on projects ranging from environmental site assessments for financial institutions, to materials engineering for international corporations, to geotechnical explorations for multi-story buildings, highways, bridges, airports and industrial facilities. He received his B.S. degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

S&ME was founded in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1973 and employs 700 professionals and support staff in Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Alabama and Florida.
